Born Mumbai, India, in 1979. Received my B.E. degree from Ramrao
Adik Intitute of Technology, Mumbai University, India, in
Electronics Engineering in 2001, my M.S. degree with a Thesis from The University of Texas at
Arlington
(UTA) in 2006 in Computer Science and Engineering. Interests lie in
Cryptography, Network Security. Been part of the Information
Security Lab(iSEC)
at UTA. Research interests include Networking, Network
Security, Anonymity and Privacy on the Internet. Co-authored a paper "Salsa: a Structured Approach to Large-Scale Anonymity", that appeared in the Proceedings of ACM CCS, Nov. 2006. Worked at PacketMotion (a Bay area startup) as a Software Analyst- Protocol Engineering for about 8 months from Dec'06 to July'07. Currently working at Yahoo! as a Dedicated Paranoid(Security) for their Corporate Applications.
Well now that this page is so easily returned on a Google search, I have a responsibility to others to keep it a lill professional, and a responsibility to myself to keep things a lill sane. If 'ol friends drop by, take a moment and say Hi on the forum (I've had to make registration necessary in order to post cos of the amount of spam this has been getting). Most of the site is gonna be the same everytime you visit it, except for a few pages. I have a marquee on top which says the last date updated and the pages updated so you don't have to rummage through already read junk. The forums right now are the most alive part of the website. I have been known to radically change the look of the site every now n then, but I think even that may not happen considering that I like the present design quite a bit. This site is primarily a personal site, with a little professional stuff on it. It is not made with the intention of developing professional contacts, it may do that but I doubt it. This site is an attempt to put my name up in lights, it may work or may not. It is a kick to see your presence on the world wide web, or maybe I'm just fuckin vain. This is not well thought of, its like me playing with a bilboard on the Vegas strip, taking off Brittney Spears and putting a picture of me in a bikini, a lill embarassing but a good laugh nevertheless. Anyways on the sensible side, these are the few things you'll find on the site:
• Theres the Gallery that has almost never been updated. First time was a novelty, next time was downright boring!
• Theres a blog that I erratically post to.(Thanks to Wordpress fucking up with the "sender referral bullshit)
• There is my resume on here to give a hint of seriousness to the site on the whole.
• Theres a ScrapBook(yupp borrowed from Orkut) that you may wanna say Hi on...
• Theres a few Forums that you may wanna visit. (Very few do that, but I'd appreciate a change in tradition here)
• The rest of the pages and links to them are on the top and are pretty self-explanatory.
10/05/07: Just got done with my first week at Yahoo! Looks like there's some good fun work gonna happen in the near future.
